about
Growing up Julian Daniel was consistently inspired by legendary acts such as David Bowie, Dolly Parton, and Shania Twain. Julian has spent the past year self reflecting, often documenting his mental health struggles in his journal. Stemming from a journal entry, 'Pillow' is about the unsuccessful attempt to run away from your fears and anxieties. Co-written by Maddy Abela and Julian Daniel, produced by Ryan Fitz (Bearings Band), and mixed and Mastered by Bobby Knepper (Dayglow).
lyrics
Verse 1
Dyslexic seven days a week
But I'm still thriving with my crooked teeth
Just burn out I'm still smiling, burn out I'm still smiling Anxiety got a hold of me now I'm shaking uncontrollably Tight chest, sweaty palms
Pre-Chorus
But you don’t know me and your
Dancing quietly like
Chorus
While I got anxiety
And it feels like everyones watching me
Can you tell me that no ones got their eyes on me No ones got their eyes on me
While I got anxiety
And it feels like everyones watching me
Can you tell me that no ones got their eyes on me No ones got their eyes on me
Verse 2
Creep playing on repeat
This crowd is not for me
Wanna sit on that sticky couch, sit on that sticky couch Anxiety got a hold of me now I'm shaking uncontrollably Tight chest, sweaty palms
Pre-Chorus
But you don’t know me and your
Dancing quietly like
Chorus
While I got anxiety
And it feels like everyones watching me
Can you tell me that no ones got their eyes on me No ones got their eyes on me
While I got anxiety
And it feels like everyones watching me
Can you tell me that no ones got their eyes on me No ones got their eyes on me
